Ark survival evolved is a game about learning to overcome obstacles, as the "survival" in the name suggests. At first it's braving the night, then fighting off an array of dinosaurs and mystical creatures and learning using them to your advantage, and the final obstacle come in the form of other enemy players. You will ally yourself with some and wage war against the rest. Some consider ark a hobby and others a way of life. As the name Arkaholics suggests it can be quite addictive.
Like in many other open world survival games, your first objective will be to start level the higher level you are the better things you can have. Leveling can be done in the traditional way of hunting, gathering, or crafting, but in ark their other options such as exploring (which is explained in depth in the guides section). Ultimately Your goals will be to level, tame dinos, build a strong base all of which will be gone over in the guides, but the cheat to learning is to find a tribe and have someone teach you.
